Container and Content

This is a selection of works created between 2013 and 2024. Now gathered under this title, the exhibition highlights what they have in common: the representation of the container in the absence of content, or content in the absence of the container. There is landscape, object, non-abstraction, yet it is also a collection of strange pieces that generate tensions of meaning among themselves, opening up multiple interpretations. By stretching this meaning to its limit — the one suggested by the exhibition’s title — there is a piece that almost slips away, but the others hold it like a vessel, and it becomes contained.
